  • e38 coilover not low enough in the rear

    hey guys,

i got some problem with my fk highsport coilover on my e38...

in the front im ok with the ride height... but the rear is fucked up...
i just deleted the helpers but its not low enough... last week i tried to improve it and just saw that the bump stop is sqeezed - so the car lays on the bump stops.. i just deleted them and put one flat bump stop in.... ride height is maybe 0.2 inch lower...

what else can i do? i think if i sqeeze the springs (nearly an inch shorter) then the car will sit on the shocks and that sucks..

hope u understand my problem and u got some ideas

    greets from germany

Im confused how low are you trying to go? The Fks should lower more than enough to anyones liking. IIRC the Fks have two ways to lower? Did you remove any of the locking collars. Are all the locking collars touching? Pictures would help too.

The second one is a picture of the sideskirt in the front..
As you can see the rear is maybe an inch higher... I just want the sideskirt nearly straight..

Also a picture of the coilover in the rear... The helper spring is out..
