so heres the deal, i have a 2005 elantra, and i have currently maxed out my coilovers. i have about 3-4" of ground clearance at my front bumper. i want to be lower. does anyone know how i can do it safely? without cutting my coils or heating them. im not sure if i can remove the bumpstops on them without the coils falling off. anyways check out the build thread and ill give you any specs that you need if you ask. thanks.

i found these that might work as replacement springs for the springs that are on my raceland coilovers. ill have to see how their spring rate compares with the rate of the raceland spring. and theyre 1.5" shorter, which is pretty drastic, so i might actually have to raise the car up on the collars, so that it sits right with the lower/shorter springs.

i care about ride quality, but its not a super big deal. like i said, its a daily, as long as i dont bounce uncontrollably thats pretty much where i draw the line on ride quality. if i had the money for a bag setup, then i would custom fab one, notch the frame and slam the fuck out of it. but for right now, i only have limited cash as a college student.
maybe you should get broadway static to make me some custom coilovers.
