So I tried order a set of 5" springs from ground control and they said the shortest they make are 6". If so how the heck are some of you running 4" in springs in your GC kits?? Where can I order some??

I build coils with both springs and have found that swifts ride more comfortably. They both have an equal "sweet spot" where they are in spec within compressing a mm or two but swift uses an alloy which makes the transition from uncompressed spring to compressed to it's "sweet spot" a lot smoother. The hypercos are more brute (for a lack of a better term because it isnt derogatory) as in they dont have the smooth transition the swift has.
on the street this is negligible, and a lot of people actually prefer the hyperco for those reasons. Swift is more expensive by a few dollars, and fwiw is used twice as much as hyperco on high end applications.
id get whatever is available, the difference is far from night and day although i do prefer swifts.Last edited by Jesus Christ; 08-16-2012, 07:25 AM.

I've got swift 5" up front and hypercoil 4" springs out back, wouldn't know there was a difference at all driving the car. Interesting reading that they're different feeling even though they're the same rates.
I has a softer set of GC Eibach 4" springs out back before though, don't know why they said 6" was the smallest.
