Are you asking if coilovers come with springs? Because they do

may i ask why you would want to keep the springs?? When you buy a set of coilovers they will come with everything you need springs, struts etc....sell the springs or keep them for later but after you spend all that money on coils, u probably wont care about the springs anymore IMO

Using your springs on a set of coilovers would make the car taller. You use the springs that come with the coilover setup because it is built for those springs. I have no idea why you're trying to accomplish here, but it's not a good idea whatever it is.

It looked pretty fresh before you blacked out the wheels. Id go back to silver and space those wheels out just a tad, then decide how much lower you reallly want to be. If you want coils, hell yeah, but you might get a lot of mileage out of just compressing the front a tad.

^ Since this thread is obviously full of winners, how do you "compress" the front end?

                  I'm anxiously waiting your response.

Also, to the OP, its' painfully obvious you have no idea what coil-overs are or how they work, I'd suggest you do a lot of searching on the subject - its' an E36, its' the Civic of Stance. Info is EVERYWHERE. Writeups are EVERYWHERE. Parts are EVERYWHERE.

Another thing to note, that is not only VERY bothersome to me, but everyone else on this site - when you post up a new thread asking a question or multiple questions, DO NOT title the thread "please help" or "help needed asap!" ... Choose a title that GENERALLY DESCRIBES the content of the thread. On my own personal forums, and other forums I was a moderator on, I'd simply delete those threads. It makes searching harder, and people are less-inclined to click on the thread at a glance, because without opening the thread and reading it, they have no idea what is contained inside.

There are some helpful suggestions, now, hit the books. ALL of your answers, to EVERYTHING about your car, are on these very message boards.

Definitely take it off. Car is clean and I never condone black wheels.

Agreed. Honestly, I would just toss the springs. Sometimes Frankenstein-ing things together like that just doesn't work. Take Frankenstein for example >:]

But if you want a good coilover setup then pm Seandub^^^ Him and Jaze make gangster coilovers.

Op, its easier to just get coils and sell your current set up.

Btw, it physically won't work because coilover springs are 2.25 or 2.5 Id and oem style springs have very big openings for oem strut tops.
