    Hey guys,

I got a cheap set of raceland coil overs for my mk2 golf, the reason they were cheap, the adjusting threads on the front coils are stuck.

Anything i can do to losen them? Any sort of spray i can put on??

Penetrating oil like WD-40 or PB Blaster should do the trick. You might have to coat them a few times and let it sit to work in, then get nasty with a spanner or channel-locks.

Sounds like a plan, do you know if i can buy a kit to fix a leak in one of the shock absorbers? One of them is starting to leak a tiny bit.

          Worked wonders.
If no air hammer, flat head + regular hammer haha

I honestly don't know. I've never dealt with Raceland products before.

Racelands are only about $400 new. What did you pay, like $75?

Close, 50$. Like i said, its for my Golf Mk2, i use daily, its home painted flat black and rusty and crap, its a slave car, so not gonna buy a new set of coil overs. The guy who has a garage next to me only has 3 or Mk2's and spares to build a whole new car, i got the coils from him, as he felt they were to stiff to drive with.

No one able to help on the replacing seal?
