  • Another e30 thread...

Hey guys i have a 1987 325es and i am really having trouble sorting out what my options are for going low. i know i will need to cut my strut housings so they are shorter. but i am not sure what to do for coilovers. i understand i need a harder spring rate and shorter shock. GC coils seem to be the way to go but i cant find exactly what i need to do or dont understand it i guess.

e30 heads please help me out !

JOM seems to give a great drop in the front but the rears seem to not go nearly as low. any ideas on how to increase rear drop?

I spent a lot of time deliberating about it mate, I made a thread and got some really helpful replies so it might be worth checking out.

I ended up buying some BC coilovers, they look really good and they offer a pretty huge drop. I think it's about 110mm without removing some adjuster rings, if I do that then they'll go even lower.

i have decided to go with JOM, they do more then enough drop in the front. i will just have to figure out how to lower the rear more. gc spring maybe?

Contact Ground Control or einstein with GE on R3v for some shorter rear springs.
