Recommended coilovers for e28?

Hello.

Does anyone here know the best bolt on coilovers available for an e28 which dont require any modification? When I say best, I mean amount of travel. Ive being looking at XYZ and they dont look like they will drop low enough. Ive heard BC is decent. Any suggestions from other e28 owners? Cheers

I am running spax 28 way adjustable dampers and ground control sleeves. It its the least amount of work for a coilover only requiring you to have the new spring perch welded on the front. Its obviously not going to have the travel of the shortened housing ground control setup but the ride is still decent and the car will still go very low.

The ground control setup is expensive but worth every penny. You will have travel, adjustability, and quality. If you have the money; pay for the shortened housing ground control setup. I am about a grand in with my setup and still dont have camber plates or strong rear strut mounts.

Do you guys know if Ground Control even sell the full kit for e28? I want to get it but can't seem to find it available to buy...
