Hey everybody I have a bone stock 03 passat wagon gl 88k miles. I want to lower it and put rims on it. Does anybody know what coil overs I should get and how about rims? I am new to that type of style car? If anybody could help me it would be great. I was thinking 19 rims.

I have 19x8.5 and 9.5 with 215/35 & 225/35, rolled front fender, stock rear
Coilovers are the new V-maxx xxtreme, they are damping adjustable, they ride real nice and have room to go a lot lower.
Passat are pretty easy to deal with low, if its auto/tip the trans pan is the lowest vulnerable part, the sub frame mount can drag but that not an issue and the upper controls can hit on really big dips. You don't have to worry about axle bind, notching, sway bars, oil pans, dog bone mounts etc like most other VW's.
Get on VWvortex, Passat aren't as popular as other VW's but there still threads full of different wheel set ups to look for ideas, also Passat are 5x112 so staggered wheels of Merc's bolt straight on, Bentley wheels, Audi wheels, MK5/MK6 wheels.
