e30 with ground controls is not low enough.

i have an 88 BMW 325i. its on the Ground Control coilover conversion kit. i want to go moar low in the front but im all the way down and its not low enough. anybody have any ideas on what I could do to go lower without spending a bunch of money? Thanks!

I just cut the stock spring housing off and welded it where it sat. Should I grind that off and a weld it lower?

You should modify (cut) the strut housing and install short body konis and weld a lower perch. If you just weld the spring perch lower, your shocks will just bottom out.

OP: You need to cut at least one inch and you need to do it below the original spring perch. Here's a DIY:
