Shortening strut housing is literally just as he described it. Doing some of your own research will also help you a lot, you will also learn a lot more that way.

That's what Im on and I love them I also have my strut housing and shocks 4'' shorter than stock, when you buy them from Groung Control just tell me that you want shortert struts, they will be very hellfull.
