I bought the bag setup for my w124 from bagriders and it fit terribly (it's the same as w201). I ended up having to slot the holes in the brackets to get the bags not to rub against the frame. As much as I was able to slot them to push the bag out towards the shock to clear, it never really was enough and I would tear holes in my bag.

I ended up getting a bracket kit from Gnar Low and it's worked well.

Thanks for the tips , I'm no good welder so I have built brackets with my grandfather 's plate beater and welders , we built the lower brackets of 10% angle , and about 80mm long brackets at the top , then said a guy that the brackets are not allowed to be angled . so now I have no ideas left, will probably take up the plasma cutter soon

sorry for bad english // Linus

Angling them is fine. I actually angled my bottoms a good amount as well. Given how aggressive the angle of the control arm is at compression, I haven't found any issues. In fact, I don't know how else you could get a bag to fit without doing so.
