Air Tank in the Sun?

Okay so I've been playing with the idea of mounting my tank in the parcel shelf of my car. Which would mean that it would be exposed to the sun. Granted I don't live in an insanely hot area, my car is not garaged and it can get pretty hot here. I guess my question is, is this dangerous to have the tank mounted between the window and the parcel shelf?

Seeing how our semi truck tanks(without side fairings).are exposed to the sun,weather, good bad, hot, 115+ to -50 and nothing happens. So youll be fine.
