  • DIY Air Suspension

Did a bit of searching around and so far I haven't dug up answers to my question.
I've got a 96 Eagle Talon TSI AWD that I'm considering bagging to have the best of both worlds; great handling and a low ride height when I want.

Pretty sure I'm going to use Air Lift performance's Universal builders kits but I'm confused on what to measure on my car so I can select the right parts.
I assume I need to measure clearance for the diameter of the bags.
How do I measure travel and ride height though? Any other measurements?

My car uses a cartage strut up front (sits in a suspension fork is the best way for me to describe it) and a eyelit lower mount shock out back.
I've already got a set of upper mounts/stand offs I can use.

Good luck on the Talon project! Follow this link and it will give you all the measurements of our universal struts. http://www.airliftcompany.com/conten...ersalChart.pdf Measure your suspension components, then compare those measurements to our universal specs. You do not have a lot of room on that particular car, so you may need to run sleeve style bags all the way around. Let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anything I can help with.
