  • Bagging my mk3 cabrio

Bagging my mk3 cabrio, I found a cheap manual setup. I need to buy fronts for it, but the rears are universal. I dont know really anything about universal bags, as I have only dealt with bags already on the struts themselves. My question is how do I go about the rears? I honestly have no idea.

that is a picture of the exact ones I am buying.

    Thanks in advance

MKIIIs are coilover in the rear, aren't they? If I'm remembering correct, those bags are not going to work for your application.

I believe your rear suspension is tight enough that you're going to need sleeve-style bags back there, and they'll have to be bags that are designed for use in a bag-over-shock setup. Were I you, I would simply purchase a pre-fab setup like the kit Air Lift offers. It'll save you a huge amount of hassle and will be ready to rock right out of the box.

Yeah they are coilover in the rear. But hmm alright. I was getting this setup for 550 that's why I wanted it. Cheap cheap.

can someone just tell me if they could work? And how that would happen? or if I really should just get sleeved bags.

As I explained, these bags are not designed for your application. You will need to purchase sleeve-style bags designed for bag-over-coil installation or buy a prefabricated setup.
