Advice on Porsche 944 air struts

So. The car in question is an early Porsche 944. Research has shown that these cars share the same front suspension design as late VW SuperBeetles so I'd love to know where to find these components since I'm sure they're available from someone online. The rear suspension is of torsion bar type but people do away with them and just do coil overs in place of the factory shock. With that being said does someone make a strut in kit form that is as narrow as a coilover and can be set up with bolt eyelets on both top and bottom?
Any advice or links to parts is greatly appreciated.
