Air ride on my E46 Convertible

Has anyone fitted air ride to their E46 convertible? if so show me the boot area? I am hoping that a 5 gallon tank will fit at the back of the boot just under where the roof gets stored when it is down.

I am saving for the V2 kit. So planning ahead I'd like to know a few things.

the front lines I will follow the brake lines, but where are you taking the lines into the boot area? same question for the rear? are you just drilling holes and using rubber gromets?

Will I get the 'front bumper on the floor' with the E46?

I didn't do the install, so can't comment on where the lines were run. My front bumper is maybe an inch and a half or two off the ground when I air out...as of now. Going to do some adjustments next week, so we'll see.

I'm going to upgrade from the Ksport management within the next couple of months. Trying to decide between e-level and v2 at the moment.

doesn't do anything...All the lines run to it. Just a manifold I guess.

all cars are just about the same routing lines. Just look under there and find the least restrictive route to take. minimal bends. not close to moving parts.etc.etc...

Dont run air-lines inside your car...same with any other car thats on air or hydraulics

Curious why you recommend against running air lines inside the vehicle. I can see with hydraulics, since if line rubs through or a connection shits the bed it's going to barf hydraulic fluid all over the interior of the car, but what problems do you see with air? I ran my front air lines under the carpet since my W124 has a smooth underbelly with nowhere good to tuck air lines. Protected with thick fuel line hose and run through heavy grommets as they are, I can't see any real room for issues.

I'm just running mine from the trunk floor to under the car, then running them along the brake lines under the car.

Pretty simple so far. Ran into some issues for the press fittings for the rear though, but I think I squared it all away.

I noticed the Bag Riders install guide shows the fitting upside down in the pictures.. But once you have them in your hands, you'll understand how it goes.

The only real Issue I'm running into is wiring. Finding the right ignition power source and such.
But other then that, I think it'll all be complete today for some testing and all will be good!

I'm in a 4door though so as far as your tank fitting issue, I'm not too sure. Shouldn't be a problem I assume. The tank length is perfect for the trunk, and it's not too tall.
If anything, you just can't mount the tank all the way the back, you'll probably have to move it up a little to give room for the top.

Definitely agree with Doug!

I've run the lines inside the car a few times, never had any issues.
