  • Air suspension noob - Leaving car sitting overnight/for a few days

What's up guys. I'm putting together an order for my management from BagRiders, and I'm gonna be bagging my 98 Integra. Being that this is my first car on air, I have a few questions, and I'd appreciate any help.

What's the best way to leave a car when it's not running? I want to air the car out when I'm not in it [parking lots, at work, in my driveway, etc], but do I leave some PSI in the bags? What about leaving the car overnight or over the weekend? Is it safe to leave air and pressure in the system? What's the best/safest/most correct way to go about leaving a car sitting? Would I have to drain all the air/pressure?

Thanks for any help in advance!

When it comes to leaving the car sit, you are perfectly fine with either leaving air in the bags or airing it out completely. Personally, I only really use my air ride to get over obstacles and to air out at shows. When I go home, to the store, work, etc, I just leave the car at my ride height. On the other hand, most people will air their cars out every single time they park it.

The only time you really need to consider parking your car a certain way is when storing it for a long period of time, i.e. over the winter. If storing your car for a few months without driving it, it's best to leave it aired up at your ride/ stock height. This will help take some strain off of oem suspension components that aren't used to being maxed out one way or another.
