  • Fiat x-1/9...what will it take to bag it?

Currently I'm restoring a 1977 fiat x19 and at the end of the restoration (hopefully this summer) I want to bag it (in the winter). Since it's a very off the wall kind of car no one has ever done this before to my knowledge. Since I'm new to the stance scene I would love all the help and advice with this thing.

For what it's worth here a few pics.

The first pic is a really dark pic but this is the front suspension set up but it's the same both front and rear. It's a fully independent system all round.

Anybody? I know it's a bit different but it must be possible to bag it.

I don't really know too much about bags, but I think that if you just want a bag on your regular strut/shock you put it in place of the spring. It all matters about the diameter of the shock/strut I guess.

      I hope I helped.

No thread yet. This weekend I'll make one for my Volvo and Fiat. It's gonna be awhile before I bag it (still need to put the engine in an paint it) bit I'll start contacting some air ride companies to see if they have anything that might fit.

It's a fully independent McPherson strut setup. Pretty amazing to have fully independent back in the day.
