  • Bagging my gto

So obviously air suspension kits don't exist for my car(2005 gto) other than the australian kits which are ridiculously overpriced...meaning I have to piece together my own kit. I'm probably going with a bag over coil setup, replacing the springs on my megan coilovers with UAS aerosport bags.
Thats as far as I've gotten, past that I'm completely lost. How do I bolt those bags to my coilovers? what should I do for management? is there a guide to wiring it all up? etc etc
Ive worked with a bunch of coilovers but never air suspension, so completely new to this.

Just bagged my malibu and its the same story. No bolt on parts. I tried putting the bags on the coilovers I had. Bad idea. I'd recommend getting some OEM spec ones maybe some koni's if you want some stiffer dampening. Reason I say that is because the UAS bags will make hella noise if their mounting plates arent welded in place....You wont want to put welds on coilovers. There are instructions you can download from UAS how to install the bags on OEM spec struts. Management I used a kit by ridetech...its all inclusive and comes with everything you need aside from your bags. Hope that was some help for you.

Yeah, you'll have to do some sort of universal setup. The Air Lift universal struts will be your best bet in terms of ride quality and handling but if you decide to go with a bag over coil setup, take a look at the following diagrams.

As for the management, we have a couple different options for you. Take a look at our management packages and let me know if you have any questions about anything!
