I use Airlift universal front struts and air house 2 rear bags. But, I had a talk with airlift at Eurohangar this year and they have something in the works for E30's using the R32 style rear bag making the rears a simpler install and the fronts will slip over the stock strut housing for a tighter fit and then will be welded at the bottom of the knuckle like BC or Megan coils etc.
Not sure on release date though.
The universal setup isn't a terrible install and I love it. Rides amazing and handles great. Contact bag riders and they'll get you all taken care of.
Mike has a DIY on R3V for the install front and rear that most all of us followed with a few personal tweaks from car to car.
Airlift universal up front with AH2 in the rear for me as well. I looked at using the R32 bags, and from the prints Airlift sent and my measurements, it seems they will fit over BMW nipples. Probably better to hold out for the custom application though. My deciding factors to go with the AH2 are a shorter compressed height, and the ability to run the air line from the top of the bag... would rather have a solidly-mounted line instead of a flexing line off the bottom of the bag. And again, I followed the instructions on R3V.
Sounds like you're looking for an easy install? The AH2 rears are easy enough, and you could run a BOC over your existing coilover until the Airlift E30 struts are available.

Yea. What he said. Check us all out on instagram. @e30_ernie @michaelhockman @e30l
I used an Aero Sport bag on my coilover front strut on mine. Works bang on, but you lose a lot of wheel clearance.
I use an Air House 2 on the rear. Had to grind off the spring nipple on the trailing arm though and alter the tip bit too.

Airlift and AH2's. It's definitely the way to go, I used to be on Broadway Static coils and I prefer the bags.
What did you guys end up spending in parts alone? I'd probably be looking for a shop in the tri-state area PA/NJ for installation, any recommendations?

Parts alone are going to be around 2200-3200 depending on what management and accessories you go with.

Don't listen to that guy, he's on racelands, rotas AND he says yolo.
Spent $1600 on my setup. Manual management is the cheapest route but its not as easy to wire in as autopilot v2 which is what I will most likely upgrade to down the road.
