Accuair sensor rod question

Hey all,

my accuair sensor linkage (the rod) just broke, and i have ordered a replacement. has anyone had experience just replacing the linkage? does it just snap onto the ball joint of the height sensors? any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if I needed to clamp down on a specific part or something. Looks like I just pull it with a bit of force.
