Since you already have the suspension components you will need a management system. This can run you anywhere from $600-$2,500 depending on what type of management system. There are Manual, Analog, Fully digital pressure based, and Fully digital height based systems. Do a quick Google search or look right here on S/W there are a lot of threads covering air. Educate yourself with some research and a majority of your questions will be answered. Good LuckLast edited by Hella_RICH; 04-21-2013, 09:22 PM.

not necessarily the way the front strut is the bag should sit right at the top of the wheel IM running similar setup and I have 15x8 et 12's in frontOriginally posted by Average_Jerk View PostI wouldnt have bought those. youre going to have to run narrow high offset wheels up front now

That was my first thought as well. I'm going to be running e38 style 5s with 20mil adapters so around et 0 will be the offsetOriginally posted by Average_Jerk View PostI wouldnt have bought those. youre going to have to run narrow high offset wheels up front now
mind if you post some pics?Originally posted by HPG-Matt View Postnot necessarily the way the front strut is the bag should sit right at the top of the wheel IM running similar setup and I have 15x8 et 12's in

those style bags are not ideal for an E30 application. Having them sit so high will limit how low you can ride and parkOriginally posted by HPG-Matt View Postnot necessarily the way the front strut is the bag should sit right at the top of the wheel IM running similar setup and I have 15x8 et 12's in front

yeah im planning on replacing them to start with!Originally posted by Rob&co View Postno its a good deal... I don't know if I would trust riding on those used bags..... But for 200 it will work..... spend another 500-1200 should have it all working...... Unless you pop those beat (looking) bags...
what do you suggest i do? is it possible to change the style of bags? or in your mind do you think that it's not even worth my time?Originally posted by Average_Jerk View Postthose style bags are not ideal for an E30 application. Having them sit so high will limit how low you can ride and park

I'm a little confused ... you bought the setup for $200 but plan to replace the bags before you even start ... isn't that starting fresh at that point? Sounds like a waste of a couple hundo if you're going to replace everything anyway.- Bagged '98 Chevy S10 - Stock '88 Volvo 240DL - Broken '87 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R - Also Broken '87 Shelby Lancer #707/800 -

Sorry about the confusion what i really ment to say the plan is to see how much it would cost me to get the rest of the system running then a little later on down the road replace the older things. and plus i helped out a friend with 200 bucks so that also a reason for the buyOriginally posted by Daviticus View PostI'm a little confused ... you bought the setup for $200 but plan to replace the bags before you even start ... isn't that starting fresh at that point? the bag is a welded sleeve to the factory spindles if you bolt the wheels you will be running up to the spindle you can see how much lower you can mount the bag. If you can move the bag lower you can take your front assembly to any machinist/ welder and have them cut down towards the knuckle and have a section cut out and then have them rewelded
