  • 4-way vs 2-way?

What are the pros/cons of 4-way and 2-way bag setups? I have heard that cornering with 4-way is better, but my buddy just told me that he was happier overall with a 2-way front back system and said it rode smoother and solved some of his bouncing issues Do some cars do better with one setup verus the other? I'm not really looking for cornering abilities, just a more comfortable ride and trying to solve some bouncing problems.

    Bouncing is a damper issue

4 way is best, no air travels between bags as they are all individually routed/managed.

bouncing issues means you need different shocks. stiffer shocks.

Yeah 8 valve (4 way) systems are the only way to go. If you go with a 2 way setup, you're really doing yourself a disservice and might as well leave the stock suspension on your car. The oem suspension is going to handle better than any 2 way system out there.

Rode on both... personal preference was "4 way" or 8 valves. The 4 valve setup didn't handle like a car, it was very unpredicatble to me, especially over bumps. I prefer firm, not hard, suspension; given that the 8 valve setup provided both a firmer ride, a more controlled ride, and in my opinion better ride quality over road obstacles. This all came with the ability to drive the car lower as each corner had a greater effective pressure. Easy choice in my book.
