  • Bags first?

    Hello SW,
I have a set of 3 piece wheels i will be taking apart and refinishing, rebarrelling, and overall making them more agressive. I have already made the decision to go airride suspension for my car and my question is, for the most agressive wheel fitment do I install the suspension first then customize my wheels to fit or does it matter?

Secondly, any suggestions on what air-ride kit to go with considering that there is no kit directly applicable to my ride?

Needless to say, i will be going air-ride for the first time... Thanks SW

It depends if your ok with doing a lot of fender work or not. If you go bags first you can get the exact measurements you need for the wheels to sit flush while it's aired out. As well you could easily test fit wheels to find out which look you'd like. If you go wheels first you could overestimate or underestimate the specs and end up needing spacers, lots of camber, or lots of bodywork.

I would recommend bags first, then wheels. Hope that helps

Any suggestion on a universal airlift kit I should use? Im sure there is no kit for my ride so at this point I am strictly looking for reputable "reliability" as far as airlift kits go... any components to consider and others I should stay away from?
