  • E46 not tucking?

Hey what's up guys, I'm having a bit of a delima right now. I'm running the mk4 r32 slam series kit on my bmw and can't seem to get the front and rear to tuck? It lays frame up front but nothing in the rear and I'm aware that I won't be able to lay frame in the rear but I want to at least tuck rim. The fenders and quarter panels sit literally 2 or 3 cm away from the lips possibly less! Do you guys have any recommendations to get the car to sit lower?

Here is a pic of the car aired out. I do not have any modifications done to the fenders but I don't see that being the problem.

Sadly, I have no idea and can't help....but your car looks real good! Keep it up.

two things...the cups on the rear bags are too tall or the shocks are fully collapsed but they are too long and are holding the rear up.

I feel the shocks might be to long in the rear, the cup in the rear is pretty small. I have a couple friends with the same rear shocks and they tuck so much more? I was thinking my cheap tires didn't alow the car to go down enough but I'm not sure that's the problem. Anyone else have any suggestions of what it could be ?

sounds like the shock is fully compressed and holding the car up. try to get a picture of it by reaching a cellphone up under there when you're aired out, and or take some measurements and see if you can't estimate how much it would be compressed, a shorter shock will allow the car to go lower, but right now it's fully compressed and holding the car up.

Anyone know of shorter shocks for the rear ? I'm running rokkor rear shocks, what would be a smaller yet better shock for the rear ?

Unbolt the bottom bolt holding the shock on and see if the car goes any lower before you go looking for new shocks.

When the back stops going down, is there any air left in the bag?

I think I air about at around 20psi so I can still drive aired out in the rear but not the front, idk if that means anything lol

This is my buddy Andrew's car, I feel his tucks way more than mine does all around?
We are on the same suspension setup down to the wires so idk what it could be?
