  • Tracking with airride

Long story short i have a 4dr m3 with ALOT of suspension upgrades. I track the car regularly. Ive been on a full ground control race 30 way adjustable coilover set up camber plates, swaybars, adjustable control arms ect ect now i run my car really low with 18x10 rear and 18x9 front Fikse fm5's as daily wheels.. When i race the car i run 17x9.5 with 255 star spec track tires.. My main concern is am i gonna lose stability and handling if i swap to the new airlift setup for BMW's ???? Does anyone on here have any real first hand experience with this?? I did watch the video on airlifts website of the cars drifting and driving around the track obv driving somewhat hard but competitively how do they compare to a actual track setup coilover...

i saw a review somewhere about air lift taking one of their mustangs to a track event, had a bunch of pro drivers run the car around the track, all said they loved it. i'll try and find it but i bet one of the air lift guys could point you right to it.

    edit: found it

All I can say is you won't be dissapointed! We track test all our kits and have even competed on a few and will do a lot more this year. You can read this for some great testimonials at the end: http://www.airliftperformance.com/20...arvin-corners/:

      and watch these videos:

While neither of these are an e36, it is the same damper and spring technology found in all our new kits. And you may want to know that the black car in our marketing stuff is owned by our CAD designer that designs these kits and it is tracked VERY regularly. We removed an H&R Cup kit from the car to install the air suspension. Ian is delighted with the everyday ride improvement and we are certain he will pull similar, if not faster lap times.

I have an e46 that we just bagged and I have the same kind of love. And, just so you know that we understand track stuff, I have been an SCCA road racer for 25 years and do race engineering on weekends...My team lives and breathes going fast!

Thanks for considering our product! We are working very hard to tell our performance story and having serious track cars like yours on air will only help!

Let me know if you have any questions.
