Hey everyone, i'm Nathan and I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S. I am on Vmaxx coilovers right now with 16x7.5 ET19 and 16x9 ET13 BBS RS.
I love these wheels and they look a little awkward in the front right now because theyre so small and the wheel well is so big. The only way I could make them work properly is if I was pebble pushing. I am going to school in Chattanooga, TN and the roads here aren't exactly the best... So I have been looking at air ride.
I think I could get away with just straight up using some airlift universal sleeve bags without having to do any sort of custom fabrication in the rear but the front is what I'm worried about... I know I could do a bag over coil set up with a bag over my vmaxx but I have no idea what bag I should get, I dont know what I need to do to get the bag to fit over the coilover, nothing. Also, the front top mounts are so big I would have to get some custom fabricated to be able to lay frame. Which is exactly what I want to do. I just need someone to help me figure out clearance issues with the front and rear bags and what I need to do to get them to work. Management wise I was just thinking about getting the V2 Autopilot management pack off of Bag Riders.
Basically I want this thing to lay frame while parked but be able to raise it up when I have to go over the GIANT speed bumps around here....
Here are some pictures of my car just for reference.
