Hi guys! I am not new to cars but I am new to air ride. What I want is a setup that will allow me to daily drive slammed and still enjoy the car on the track and back roads. I drive a mini cooper s with basic bolt ons and supercharger upgrades. Im looking something like this http://www.airsociety.net/2011/12/mi...ng-air-airrex/ but i cant find a full kit for sale any where. another possible setup is this http://www.andysautosport.com/mini/2...o00002214.html thanks for any help or opinions and if you have any info on tracking an air ride setup or which air ride works best for the cooper s please let me know here!

when tracking a bagged car is there a big difference in feeling between say a coilover setup and bags? with most track set ups people run a stiffer spring and im wondering how you set the pressure in the bags for the best handling and at what ride height the cars are tracked at? I assume it would be at a slightly lifted height for clearance and to get rid of fender rub. thanks for any help!

As for handling, I used to have Bilstein PSS9 coils on my Mk4 R32 and was a little apprehensive about the switch to air ride at first. Once I bit the bullet though, I was glad I did. The car now handles and feels almost exactly like it did on the Bilsteins. I could not be happier with the performance and when it comes to tracking it, all I do is raise it up a bit so I have about 50-55psi in all bags. This not only gives me more clearance from my low ride height but also causes the suspension to become stiffer. You don't have to get all donked out to get a stiff ride height and for the cars that I've driven, the best ride height for track/ windy back road banching is usually a bit lower than stock which doesn't really mess with the cars original geometry.

I would like to drop my car as low possible for the but am hesitant on going towards coilovers due to shitty roads out here, but I am also hesitant about an air ride at the track since I don't know much about this i too, would like to know how a bagged car handles on the track!
