now heres the thing.... i am totally okay with "reps whether it be reps of an aftermarket wheel or OEM wheel. cause I know some people have bills like me or dont wanna spend $3000 on wheels just to scrape them up.

this is the whole problem. supporting replicas of any kind creates a market. once the demand is established it only makes sense for companies to capitalize.

im okay with reps sometimes. but if i had the money for real ones i would buy and support them. im just saying since i am too broke for real wheels, i would buy a cheaper style i liked. i wouldnt choose replicas as a first choice, which is why i have the rims i have now. they are R-1s and i dont think their a replica of any kind.

and it dont matter if they have a market or not, people will learn lessons when they buy the fakes and they break within a year or less. or i can see someone dumb buying fake RSs and trying to take them apart hahaha lol

i love real wheels, especially JDM or any other import, and especially if they are vintage. now i would pay good money for some 10 year old BBS wheels in good condition, cause of the fact their vintage. i just cant see paying more than $2000 for some Rays or whatnot just because of the name/quality. i understand their stronger than cheap wheels, but i dont personally need the lightweight aspects cause i dont race or track my daily driver car. real wheel or not, they all can be scratched, cracked and bent. and where i live and drive daily, i would damage any kind of wheel.

dont get me wrong though, if i see a nice set of used Work, BBS, 5zigen, Axis, Rays, etc wheels for a good deal ill definitly jump on it. i aint against real wheels, just cant see buying new ones for what they run. my current wheels and tires cost me $550 used, in almost mint condition.
