So i should order zero and negative 6 in the rear even if i want a four inch lip?(2.5 front)... does lip size effect offset? and if i use a ruler where do i measure from and to? also what width should i go with front and rear? i really appreciate the help no one else even wanted to throw a number all i kept getting was "slamm it" i just dropped it with eibach springs i would like to use them for a while it would be a waste to have bought them and then just switch to coilovers but rims are next then coilovers maybe by january 2012 i already scrap over speed bumps but still have inch and a hlf of gap on 17's with 40 profile

The only way to know for sure what to order is to do some measuring. It's not going to look good until the car is lowered, so just keep that in mind. Flush without being low doesn't look good... on anything. You might get wheels that fit the way you want to at the car's current height, but when you dump it, chances are they won't fit right, at least in the rear thanks to how these cars camber in the lower they go.

yeah i agree it would be ugly but getting slammed is in the cars future so i am ok with it for now, and if u know of any affordable coilovers or somone with used ones that fit my car i am willing to buy, also what measurements would i take where do i measure from and to, and if i go with a 10.5 in the rear what tire size should i go with?

Offset is how far in or out the hub is located in the wheel barrel. The lower the offset, the further in the hub of the wheel is located, pushing the barrel further outwards. The higher the offset, the hub of the wheel is further out in the barrel, moving the barrel inwards.
I know what I'm saying, but it's hard to put it into words. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.
Play around with this, it should get my point across. Plug different values in to see what I mean. It is not terribly realistic, but it should get the point across.
