  • e36 spacer ?? advice...

I just got a fully refinished set of m3 lightweight wheels nagaro with polished lips... what size spacers should I go with??? They are 17x7.5 f and 17x8.5 rear 41 offset I believe.... I was thinking 25 rear 20 front .... anyone have this setup or contours??? Spacer size advice

I say 15mm front and rear depending on roll, pull, and drop.

The easy way is (dose involve; not being lazy as fu*k) Go out, mount the wheels, front and back.
Let the wheels rest on some wood, and lower the jack, letting the the wheels go up thus adding camber, then adjust the coilovers, getting where you want the wheels to be, then measure from the front lip to the point where you want it.
But purely on what offsets most run, its 8,5 et13 with rolled back fenders. no idea about the 7,5 should be around 10-20ish. And tires are around 205/40 and 195/40. depending on what stretch look you want on there.

yeah id say some 15's should do the trick for the rear, 20 in the front. cuz i have 18x8.5 offset 35 on the front and a 10mm gave me a little bit of poke

yeah a 25 will give you poke in the rear and a 20 will be good for the front

This is my coupe, 8x17 contours, ET 35 all round. 15mm Spacers up front, and 25mm on the rear.

I have since wanted 20mm up front.

thanks for all the help! im going for a pretty aggressive look... im thinking im going to do 25mm rear and 20mm front.. from what i see that looks like what im going for... i have 205 40's all around so my stretch looks pretty good on the rear... not much in the front. heres a quick pic of the wheels, let me know what u think.

ya i hear ya... i got a good deal on 4- 205 40's ... they didnt have 195's or i wouldve got them for the front. hopefully ill get a more aggressive wheel setup in the short future anyways. i just couldnt pass up on the lightweights at the time.

Ok... so i mounted and balanced my tires today and threw the wheels on for a test fit to measure for wheel spacers... the gap looks huge (in my opinion) whats the biggest spacers someone is running on m contours, ds1 or 2's, or lightweights on a coupe?? i have about a 1 inch gap maybe 1 1/4 so should i go with 30mm spacers? anyone have some more pics of their e36's with specs for me??
