Tire size question

So im going to be running 8.5 and 9.5 wheels on my jetta and im curious on tires.. Ive had my mind set on running a 205/40/17 on the 8.5 and 215/40/17 and on the 9.5s. but ive caught a few more pictures of Falken 512s which were going to be the tires of choice and what im curious of is..... what would you guys run? im almost temped to run 205/40/17s on all corners but i dont want to have bubbled side walls or anything like that just yet. Just because I live in South Carolina and we have some shitty roads... Thanks in advance - Kyle

205/40 is going to look ridiculous. Go with 205/45 and 215/45

MK4 Jetta? If so, stay far far away from 205/40/17s as they're fucking terrible looking. MK3 fitment tires on a bigger MK4 = horrendous
