  • Will it work: 215/35/19 Cooper Zeon 2xs on 9.5" rim

Hey guys, quick question, ive been working on my setup for my e90 BMW for a long time now, im running a 9.5" up front with a ET22 currently on a 235/35/19 and its rubbing like crazy on every tiny bump. im dropped 2" up front and 1.5" out back and will be going lower this week with coilovers.

I want to run a 215/35/19 Cooper Zeon 2XS, i am running them in the rear on a 19x10.5" rim, 265/30/19 and it seems to run "wide" as far as tires go. so the 215 would be like a 225 i think..

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks

im running a 235/35/19 general UHP on a 9.5 up front now, and its a little "poked", but a 215 is 2 sizes smaller so i dont know if it will stay beaded..

Yes, it will definitely work. I have a 215/35 Pirelli P Zero Nero up front on my z on a 9.5" wheel:

And as far as people saying "IDK if I would trust this on a DD", that is bull. I've had this setup for about 2 months now, I drive 45 minutes to work every morning, 45 minutes home, have hit many potholes, and have had no problems whatsoever. I've seen crazier stretches than a 215 on a 9.5.

              OP-
Go for it. You won't regret it. i'll be keeping my 215's up front for good

The 215 isn't what people are concerned about, the 35 series sidewall is bc it's really a tiny tire all around. Definitely able to be daily driven but I don't think it'd be very comfortable

Haha I figured you did from your post. Just a personal preference I guess, especially since I'm on 18s and should never need to run a 35 series
