How does that sound? Too much stretch? Just enough?
I was thinking of going Hankook Ventus V12, but I hear the sidewalls are too soft?

Test fitting the wheels will tell you if you need a lot of stretch or mild stretch or if they will even work. And what's it going on? It helps to have details if you want a valuable opinion.

Sorry, forgot to write which car they're going on; a 2004 RX-8 (lowered 2 inches all around, if that matters).

17x10 +25 will go on with a roll and maybe some other minor work. I've seen a setup with 245/45/17 on there, so I'm just testing if 225 is way to extreme... And of course, if I'm making the right tire choice.

Otherwise I was thinking of an 18x9.5 +15 rear, 17x9.5 +18 front setup...
