  • hmm can this setup work???

i have an 05 altima, with 18s in my signature. i love the poke look which i can achieve with more stretch. but... i have locally a set of 16x7.5 et+14 BBS RS in silver available. now, the altimas come with 16s stock, but they are 16x6.5 et40. the stock tire size is 215/60/16, so im wondering if these BBS would work with a 205/60/16. now i know with 16s on my altima that can fit 22s no rubbing lol i wont get poke with a 60 sidewall. but i like stock wheels that tuck tires on coilovers, and i figured it would be sick to have some 16" bbs with fat tires tucked. someone let me know. i LOVE the bbs rs and i would LOVE to have an excuse to get rid of 18s on these hellashitty roads here in PA. thanks

if needed i can post my car lowered on stock 16s. even though its not a pic of it all the way slammed. just to help picturing the bbs maybe

those are going to look bad on the alti in a 16... an rs would look good in an 18 or 19 though i think, if you have the original pic of your car on 16's i can copy and paste the rs's in the same size to show you what i mean. i shopped some on my car in 17's and they looked so tiny, i would look for an 18 or 19.

you know where to find me

here ya go, maybe u can drop the car in photochop for me a bit to tuck tire a lil, which it sits now just not in the pic lol. ya i wish i could afford some 18s but i just cant. this guy has the 16s for $680 obo wheels only. authentic RS.

here i chopped it myself... lil drop and the 16s. it looks kinda old school fly! hehe but ya dont know if the +14 offset will work. wonder what i would need for it to not rub. i have 18x8.5 fronts with 225/40/18 and i dont rub, so wonder if 16x7.5 with 205/60/16 will be ok

this is just testing waters. since i love bbs so much and i can have a comfortable ride too. then i can just be a stance spectator

those look bad in 16 and i don't think you can get the car that low and still drive it... unless the qr's subframe is 2" higher than the vq's, if so, then fuck you and slam the car and buy the rs's

if i tried to get my car that low, it wouldn't drive, the subframe would be on the ground, and the exhaust would have to be ripped off to get to that height

Rs's look good in all sizes imo. I'm not sure what offsets work and look good with altimas, but I say do it.

you're gonna want at least a 50 series sidewall to fill in some of that fender gap. so maybe a 195/50/16?

idk though, the newer altimas have some MASSIVE wheel wells
