  • Help with Tire Size

Hey guys Im working on stancing my 08 xB, I just picked up some new rims and Im really having a hard time on deciding which size tire to use. Im running a stag. set-up 19x8.5 +15 in the front and 19x10 +20 in the back. I figured you guys are just about the worlds for most experts haha.

This is a picture of my fitment in the rear to maybe give you guys a better idea of what im working with. Pictures of the front coming soon.

Any help is very much appreciated.

run a 205/40 in the front and get a 225/40 for the back, try to get your hands on some yokohama parada spec2's they run a little narrower than other tire companys but STRETCH!!!

go with 35 series if you can, at least up in the fronts. I havent seen many examples of 19s pulled off well in a 40 sidewall, unless you're pushing 11 or 12 inch wide wheels.

Ahhh ok, yeah i really want it to look right. I've heard the phrase "Good Stretch" being thrown around about like brand (x) stretches better then brand (z). Is that more of a preference thing or are there brands that are known to stretch better. I did some reading on the net and I really couldn't find much of a straight answer.

here are some of my favored brands for stretch:

                federal ss595
                falken fk452 or 512 or 912
                Toyo T1R or proxes4

I also hear nitto nt555's have a nice sidewall.
