  • 18's on an E36?

I bought a set of BBS RC300's without the intention of running them on my car. However, like any giddy enthusiast I swapped out the wheels on one side of my car--just to see what it looked like.

Here's the problem... I liked it. Enough to get some advice on what to do to mount them on my car.

    Specs:
    BBS RC300
    5x120
    18x8
    et13

I've seen others run 17x8, et15 BBS RC's on an e36. If possible to run an 18" wheel with an offset of et13 what tire size would I need to run?

Currently I'm running the Style 5's next to the RC's. I re-polished the lips to a mirror finish and replaced all the bolts with brand new ones: took forever.

    Thanks for all your help.

    I know toyo makes a 205/35/18 (t1r), but it's HELLA expensive, something like 170 a tire :O

I ran some falken ZIEX 912's in a 215/35/18, and liked them. not as much of a stretch as the toyos, but workable. Kinda hard to work with an 8" wide wheel, but there are options

    GL!!!

Thanks for the help. Do you know, how badly with I have to roll the fenders to run these wheels, if at all?

          Great lookin tires tho

As for the roll, I have a pretty standard fender roll on my e36, just shaved out all the plastic gunk on the inside of the metal lip, then rolled flat the excess metal. Maybe a bit of flare, but nothing too aggressive...
