So as you all may or may not know, I recently got the Legend running again. Since it has been running every weekend it has appeared at a car meet or show, and even a photoshoot. The more I look at it, The less excited I get... Here are a couple of pics with the current wheels....
18x8+49F 18x9+37R
Yeah yeah... Too high I know.. But thats not my dilema. I have stiffer springs being made for it to bring it down.
The plan was to space the fronts out, but the more I look the less I want the 8's.
So I have 2 options.
A- Swap the centres out, put the 9"s on the front, then machine off the front lips on the 8"s (did I mention ssr weld the lips together? so in reality its a 2pc wheel not a 3 as advertised... Liar!) and get new lips made bringing them to 10"wide out back... Rough estimate Im looking at $1200 to do this.
Or
B- Buy these..
Item 5 : SSR SP1 Prof 18"
Price n Cond : $2500 used excellent cond !!! (18x9.5 offset +12 all round with tires)
Then mix and match, get one set right, and sell of the remaining set (either 9.5" +12 all round, or 9"+37F 9.5"+12R) And mix n match the centers, either keep the silvers or use the black centers...
Opinions? Thoughts? Discuss.
