  • what size and brand would you suggest?

I need to get another 1/2 inch drop out of my front when I air it out. Right now I'm running a 16x9 with a 215/40. I was looking at getting the yoko s drives in a 195/40. Good idea or no? I already trimmed the pinch weld on my inner fender. So this is my only other option is to go to a smaller tire.
Let me know what you think. Post photos also, please and thanks..

What exactly do you need to know?

Yes, 195/40 is shorter, and S.Drives are a good tire. You'll have more inner fender clearance, and your car will be lower to the ground as well.

I need the front end of my car to drop down like 3/8 of an inch for my rim to be even on the fender lip.
I already trimmed the pinch weld and I don't want to cut any more. Was wondering is a 195/40 will give me my drop or if I could run a 205/40 and get the extra drop I need..

Thanks, but that doesn't help me. I don't need to know what a tire looks like stretched on a 16x9. I just need to know if a 195/40 or a 205/40 will give me the 3/8's of an inch drop that I'm after..

            Ok.. maybe photos will help?
            My rear sits like this...

            My front sits like this..

I want my front to sit lower when I air out the bags.
But the tire is sitting on he frame and I already trimmed the pinch weld as much as I would like to.
So my only other option is a smaller tire. I need to know if I will get what I'm after if I run a 195/40 tire, or say a 205/40 tire. Right now I'm running a 215/40 and I need to come down in the front this much.

                  A 195/40 s-drive will lower you 0.3 inches.

Stretch doesn't affect the overall diameter of a tire.

                      A 205/40/16 is 0.3" shorter than a 215/40

                      A 195/40/16 is 0.7" shorter than a 215/40

Out of curiosity though, what do you mean when you say the tire is hitting the frame? That doesn't really make any sense as the frame rail would be one of the lowest points on the car.
