Tire stretching

Hi,
I have a couple of questions before I make a purchase
I need to get a set of tires for my bassett 15x8 wheels.
I bought the rims used and the previous owner has used a set of 195/45/15 tires w them.
They looked good but the stretch was very mild and I'm looking for a setup just tiny bit more agressive.
How do u guys feel about stretching a 185/45/15 on an 8" wheel.
Is it safe for a DD?
Also I did a search online just to get a rough idea of how much the tires will run for ?
I googled 185/45/15 and I barely came up with few results, does that size tire exist? Is it rare?
On the other hand I looked up 195/45/15 and I got more results.
What's are some good sites to get tires from?
Btw I'm putting those wheels on q 1st generation miata. I'll try to find a pic of the previous owner setup and post on here

I have not heard of 185/45 tires. Look up 165/45/15 or 165/50/15, that's an aggressive stretch on an 8" wheel, looks good, and I know a few people who DD on that setup with no problems. Hope that helps.
