  • Doing BBS RSs and e46s right: Tires?

You may have seen my threads on bfc and e46 about getting RSs on my 330.... well I thought I had decided on 205/45/17s front and 215/45/17s for the back on 17x8 & 17x9... but I'm having second thoughts now.

I could go up one size and do 17x8.5 and 17x9.5, but as you'll see below- there would be a decent bit of poke. I want the contact patch to be inside the fender, not looking for half an inch of exposed rim edge. Help me out guys.

Fronts (17x8) 205/45? or add .5" to make 2" lips?

Rears in 17x8.5", 2" lips (could put up front or in back?)

    Rears 17x9.5" 2.5" lips

do 17x9 front and 17x9.5 rear or 17x9.5 all around

You can definitely fit the bigger lips without having too much poke.

9.5s will fit easy especially with the rubber you've got planned to run

I say go for 9 inch square. If you aren't looking for so much poke, et19 might be spot on. Then again, I'm not an expert with e46 fitment :P
