Is it true that they run a size smaller than what it actually is? Ex. 255-35-18, can be considered as a 245-35-18 when compared to kumho, goodyear, etc. Thanks guys.
They tend to run smaller yes.. You will go through them quicker, but people like them on the whole. I find the Nitto NT-555's do the same and last a bit longer. That is my go-to tire.
I ran a lot of tires and with the use I do ( daily drive only ) I don't feel the need to buy crazy tires ....
Here's some pros and cons I can give you from my experience with Nankang NS-II that I currently run ( 5th time, different sizes )
PROS :
1. Cheaper price point
2. They stretch pretty good compare to a lot of tires out there
3. The sidewall isn't beefy and square, so it gives you a nice low pro stretch look
4. Pretty decent for regular drivingon dry surface, not noisy
5. Great appearance, threadwear design
CONS
1. Will wear out faster then a better brand tires, let's say you usually do 3 seasons with a tire, well you might end up doing 2.
2. They aren't the best tires in rain ... pretty slippery and less grip
3. It's not the stickiest tire you'll find in all weather condition
OVERALL
Very good bang for the buck, will look good and still does the job if you're not super demanding
Hope this helps.
