  • 16x10's on a Hyundai Hatchback

Ive ran 15x7's no problem, but im trying to go as wide as i can for a more aggressive stance. I came across a set of 16x9.5 & a set 16x10 SSR Professor SP1 R's. It doesnt list the offset or anything like that so i cant really tell what the poke would look like. I am not low so i dont think rubbing would be an issue as of now,but once i coil my car will i definitely have to roll and pull my fenders on either set? and what tires can i run that will have a slight stretch or just enough to be flush?

this guy is the reason for me thinking 9.5/10 should be ran fine since his car is a bit smaller than an accent.

    thanks.

Of course you'll have to pull and stretch. Look on www.tyrestretch.com.

sp1's come in a ton of diff offsets but they also have a sticker on the barrel that will tell the offset of the wheels.

you dont know anyone with a 10in wide wheel you can shove in there to see what kind of clearance you have?

Just because the kid with the civic hatch was able to run wide wheels doesn't mean you'll be able to. It all depends on the offset of the wheels. Until you find that out, none of us can help you.

nah, highest width ive tried is 8 and they were fine. Vivid Racing is where im copping the SSR's from and they say NOTHING about offset. Thats why im unsure and asking you guys if you know the offset on 16x9.5 or 10 SP1 R's.

When you order them you specify what offsets you want. Your going to have to get another wheel that you know the width and offset of and measure to see if you have enough clearance for a 10 and what offset it needs to be.
