  • would you????

    alright 15x10's and 15x12's on a miata.... 205/50/15 225/50/15 or... 195/45/15 225/45/15... looking for opinions.

10's have been done in numerous offsets. 12's would be stupid unless over-fenders/flares were added.

go with the 45 series then. 50's won't look good at all.

im not understanding the stupid part, i have no familiarity with tires of that profile or size so i cant help you.

id put 18x15's on the fucking passat if i could.

the toyo in a 195-45-15 on my 15x9s below:

Obviously not as extreme as some. But I love my toyos. Such a great tire in a good size.

                  EDIT!

Found a mount on a 15x9.5, same tire. Pretty wild.

Might be possible. I think you'd have trouble with the mount.

ok. thanks open minded friends. tuck&poke thanks a million. im leaning towards a 205 45 in the front the front isnt really a big deal, the rear is were the challange is. if i can stretch a 225 on the rear it may not look good. my issue is the next size up is a 255 45 dunlop. i dunno what to do about the rear....

the 205 45 on a 10 should look pretty much the same, a smidge more stretch, but the tire is a smidge taller as well.

It seems like there is some debate in that thread about whether that is really a 50 series tire or not. You know as well as we all do Sean that the size is only half of it, only certain tires look good when stretched. I think we have just found a not so pretty stretched tire there.
