A cheetah is what the guy at the tire shop used.

The tires I have are Falken 512's

    Is this a hard method?

I may have to go to a 225/35 if I can't get these on. I just need it by next week!

+1. Had to use that to seat 235/35/19s on 10" wheels. Popped em right up into place.

    Dis nga ^
They should be able to seat but I guess it does depend what tire you're trying to put on. I've never had a problem with a 215/45 on my 10s. Did you keep giving it air once it seated?

I hope you have the valve in. Because if you don't do that, it will lose all the presure, and pop off.

So I've got these 17x10's and I'm trying to get a 215/40 on there, I took it to a shop and he said he tried and tried and got really close each time, but he coudn't seem to manage to get them beaded. So I bought a can of starting fluid and watched about 20 youtube videos and tried a couple of times. I got them beaded on one side and so close to beaded on the other side, but it would always pop back off.

Anyone have any pointers? I think I need to take the inside of the valve stem out to try and blow up the tire faster....

Or has anyone done the bicycle tube method?
Working...
