  • 16x8 stretch

looking for a tire to have pretty aggro stretch in the front to match the rear.

falken 512 205/40 aren't as crazy as i'm looking for...I need just a little more but I hear those fit the same if not smaller/better than most 195/40s

I feel like 7.5 is as wide as you should go on a nankang 165/45...

not really sure what else I can do.

    suggestions?

loosk like 50 series sidewall is the only option when it comes to 185's

        175/50 Yokohama S.Drive

Same height as a 195/45. I've seen them at either Discount Tire or Tire Rack, I forget which. They come and go, it's not a common size.

          any pictures you know of?

I'll be running a 40 series in the back....I don't want it to look too uneven. thats my only concern I can think of with that size.

depending on how extreme stretch youre going for.. i would try, 165-40-16.

yeah I'm looking for a lot more stretch than that.

I might end up going with 165/45/16s

I'm just worried about losing air or the bead popping off with such extreme stretch on the front

                  I drive a mk3 jetta btw.

I'm trying to get my 185/55s on a 15x8. So far none of the tire places around here are willing to do it.

                        what a pain....

might have to settle for mediocre stretch.
