Hi guys,
I need to decide today (because of a deadline) what to do.
I have 3 piece wheels which are welded together originally and I needed another lip so I brought them to a specialist. He cutted away the welding and just gave me a call.
He thinks its really dangerous to just glue them back together. He thinks that they need to be welded back together to get it safe. The part where the barrels meet is only a few mm thick.
I really hope you can give me some advice on this.
Just called the seller of my wheels on this and he claims that Work, SSR etc also sells wheels without welding and only with glue. The main question. Is it exact the same or is the point where the weld should be reinforced?
