help me acquire stance

wheels:
18x7.5 et 50
18x10 et 55

what im thinking:
205/40/18 or 215/35/18 (not sure about this)
225/40/18

30mm all around? this is where im unsure. front et 20 and rear et 25? i would like stretch and very very minor poke. ride height will be somewhere around 23" on coils.

Stay away from 215/35/18s, they're tiny and the equivalent of a 205/40/17 on a MK4, baby tires. 215/40/18 is a good size but since the wheel is narrow, a 205/40/18 could work but you would need to be really slammed to make those work as they're pretty small

For the fronts, generally on coilovers, an 8.5 et25 is pretty flush with a 225/40, so I'd go with a 38mm adapter for a final offset of et12 to have the same amount of poke as an 8.5 et25. For the rears, anything between et25 and et30 will sit nicely on a 10" with 225/40s so it's up to you. For reference though, my car is et28 on a 10. Hope that all helps!

i think im going to go with 215/40 because i dont think im going to be low enough to pull it off properly. 23" is probably as low as ill go.

I had 205/40/17's on my 8.5" wheels before I bought different tires. I was in the 22" GTF range and still had almost an inch of wheel gap. You need to be super slammed to pull off those tiny tires.

Huge tire size fail, fucking **** 205/40/17s SO much on MK4s. It's a MK3-sized tire, leave em on MK3s
