are 215/40 ok to run on 18x9.5?

Are 215/40 ok to run on 18x9.5 (rear)? will there be problems running these tire size or should i go 225/40? thanks

Its not to dramtic of a stretch. I just put 215/40 on my 18x9 and it was a slight stretch. You should be fine.

Well 225s would be ideal, but you can put 215s if clearance is an issue

i have 215/45's on my 17x9.5's no problems. and i may be wrong but i think SeanDub ran 215/40's on his 9.5's...and it looked really really good

i daily drove my 215/40 on 18x9.5 for over a year with no problems. you should be fine
