  • Audi on Land Rover wheels...

I remember seeing it on the homepage a while ago, but nothing since...

It was an Audi Wagon with these wheels:

This car came into work today and reminded me of that Audi, and I want to know more!
I had plan of putting LR wheels on my car since technically its the same bolt pattern, and they have some pretty badass wheels, like this one. Its called the Land Rover Mondial wheel. I had this wheel in mine too...

    its pretty sick...

But what i was always stumped on was how they hell did he do it?...

    The lugs are HUGE!
    Super custom adapters?
    I want answers!

some are 5x120, but the lugs are absolutely HUGE, so it will never center correctly on a standard 5x120. I decided ill be doing this sometime this year, im just going to get custom spacers. ...Land Rover has multi-piece wheels

Has to be either custom bolts ($$$) or he could have re-drilled the hubs? Looks so sick though.

or maybe some kind of lug slacer, to lugs with spacers, to take up the slack in the rim holes left by the smaller studs.

That passat has to be using adapters as they are 5x112, so thats your answer.

well duh, but clearly he's using land rover lugs, so its gotta be a custom adapter. Id love to see it.

Its going to look like any other adapter but with a hole machined for the landrover lugs. Its not really anything special, when you order the adapters you give them the specs you need.

thought about doing those at one time. be original and stuff some lincoln mkx wheels on there. they are huge and heavy but would be titties if pulled off............what are you planning to stick wheels on?

ok, i'm done helping people out LULZ
